How long should I expect the process to take?

Typically the process from start to finish lasts 4-6 weeks. The family has the ability to drive the amount of time it takes to place a nanny.

How many nannies do you place per month?

In an average month we place anywhere from 5-7 nannies.

What are the nanny requirements?

• 4 years of proven childcare experience
• Reliable transportation with proof of car insurance and valid driver’s license
• US citizen with proof of social security card
• 3 childcare related references that we can contact
• Min. high school diploma or GED- preferred background in education
• Authorization for full background check including drug testing and credit check
• CPR and First Aide certification or willing to get certified

How long does the nanny commit to a family?

Minimum of one year

What is the average a nanny stays with a family?

Typically nannies stay for 3-5 years

What is the average pay for a nanny?

$10-14 per hour; but varies depending on specific job duties, hours of employment and number of children

What is the next step in the process for my family?

Fill out and submit or mail a Family Application along with the application fee. Once that is received, a member of Southern Nannies, LLC will contact you for some additional questions and availability to meet prospective nannies.
